Error Message seen in Visual Signature Capture

  1. Warning if one attempts to upload a template where there are multiple items tied to a single Observation Term (e.g. two edit fields that write to the same Observation Term):
    Upload template with multiple items tied to single obs error
  2. Warning if one attempts to upload a duplicate of an image file, which would cause a template that used that image to break:
    Image file exists error
  3. Warning if one attempts to create a template with the same name as one that already exists:
    Template could not be added with same name error
  4. Warning if one attempts to upload a template with an image if the image has not been uploaded:
    Template uploaded with image does not exist error
  5. Warning if one attempts to delete a template that is being used in a Rule:
    Delete template in use by rule warning message
  6. Warning if one attempts to upload a template with a demographics target that is not supported in current version of VSC:
    Add change template error message for unsupported demographic fields
  7. Warning if document is opened in Internet Explorer with "Display Intranet Sites in Compatibility View" checked or an older version of IE running. Such settings may cause document to display incorrectly or Signature box not to work correctly.

Audit Tab

Site Administrators can now search for audit events related to a particular patient or user over a particular time period. This can be helpful in cases where there is some question about what happened with regard to a particular patient and their document(s) or what a user has been doing in VSC. Audit events include the addition or deletion of patients and documents by staff members, and when patients view, save, or submit documents. Patients and documents that are added or removed by Rules are not included in the Audit events. Previously this information could only be accessed via a table in the database. The screenshot below shows all Audit events related to hypothetical patient “Jeff Abbey” on 04/23/2019.

Queued Messages Tab

The Queued Messages tab can be seen by superusers or the Visual Signature Capture administrator account. This tab shows select messages from the server.log file located on the server Visual Signature Capture is installed on. These messages can indicate problems with the program or individual Templates and you should contact support@logical-innovations.com. These error messages can be viewed by clicking the Details button, cleared individually with the Clear button, or all messages may be removed with the Clear All button.
